As a Latina Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I create space for individuals to heal and grow into their best selves. I help individuals lead their lives from a foundation of self-love, allowing them to let go of all heavy emotions, set attainable goals and believe in themselves again.

I believe self-love transforms lives. It takes a lot of courage to recognize and heal past wounds, especially breaking and family and cultural patterns that no longer work for you. By practicing self-love, and powerful holistic methods of healing, you can begin your “new story” and blossom into the person you are meant to be.

Amar means “to love” in Spanish. In therapy, we learn to love ourselves more, to break free from the unlovable core beliefs that we learned in childhood, to question what love is, and to believe that we are lovable.

Individualized Therapy with a holistic approach

You are actively engaging your healing journey and I celebrate you for your courage in seeking support! By allowing a specialist to assist you, you are actively breaking generational cycles and taking steps towards positive change. Life is not meant to be done alone and taking the moment to be vulnerable with yourself can bring many overwhelming emotions. I am here to help you process and work through those feelings. I integrate mind and body connection approaches in our sessions. We will discuss how emotions can be stored in the body and how the mind can dwell in the past. I use techniques such as EMDR, T-CBT, and mindfulness to address symptoms and promote healing. We will work together to set specific goals for your therapy plan and figure out what you want to accomplish during our sessions. It is such a privilege and honor to experience your story as I support you along the way.
